When you provide your Personal Information to us, you consent to the disclosure of such information to an overseas recipient. You hereby acknowledge that we are not required to ensure that the overseas recipient deals with Personal Information in the same manner as required in the APP. However, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that your Personal Information is dealt with in a way that is consistent or at least substantially similar to the way the APPs protect information

Greenwich Legal uses all reasonable endeavours to secure any Personal Information that we hold about you and to keep this information accurate and up to date. However, with the exception of our Client Portal, this site does not provide facilities for the secure transmission of information across the Internet. Visitors should be aware that there are inherent risks transmitting information across the Internet.
When emailing Personal Information to us please be aware that there are risks involved in transmitting such information across the Internet. Our website contains links to other websites. We have no control over and take no responsibility for the privacy practices employed at other websites.

Greenwich Legal welcomes your questions and comments regarding this Statement. If necessary, we may ask you to provide your complaint in written form. Personal Information of job applicants
We collect and store personal information provided by individuals who apply for employment with the practice. The information we may collect includes but not limited to:
- personal contact details and gender;
- educational and employment history, and relevant qualifications and employment history;
- eligibility to work in Australia; and
- referees’ contact details.
Such information can be obtained from the applicant or from a third party such as a recruitment agency, referees and from professional sites such as LinkedIn. Further information can be collected from the applicant at any stage of the interview process.
The purpose of obtaining such personal information from an applicant is to assess their ability and qualifications in relation to a particular role within the practice. However, we may retain the applicant’s personal information to assess their eligibility for other roles and will not disclose such information to a third party.
Sharing of Personal Data
We may use third party apps and software in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. These may include features to understand our users’ experience such as how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc. This enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback.
These third-party apps and software may use cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behaviour and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location, and the preferred language used to display our website.
